Jean Granum
Chief Financial Officer / Human Resources Manager
Jean started at Fernstrum in 2006. Her strong desire to be in the area along with her interpersonal skills and experience at a variety of manufacturing companies have helped Fernstrum effectively grow over the years.
ABOUT JEAN
Jean earned her Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology – Manufacturing Management from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Her work experience from several different manufacturers with a wide range of products, both high volume/low value and low volume/high value, made her a great fit as CFO.
Over time, Jean has greatly strengthened our financial capabilities via data mining information we always had in addition to better information gathering and use of our ERP system. While doing all of this, she also became a knowledgeable HR Manager. The variety of work and working relationships at Fernstrum along with direct communication with the owners is important to her.
She lives a few miles north of Menominee, keeping nature right outside of her door. Jean spends her time wrangling cats and feeding stray deer while avoiding deer ticks and the occasional bear. She can’t run as fast as she used to, having become a grandma in 2019, but still tries to keep up with the rest of us.
