President
Having been at R.W. Fernstrum full-time since 1990, Sean has been one of the leaders who have brought his grandfather’s company to new heights, through family values, new innovation, and technology. Sean treats every staff member like family and understands that customers appreciate the company’s inherent trust and honesty. He is a member of SNAME and ASM International.
ABOUT SEAN
Starting his career sweeping the shop floor on his 14th birthday, Sean has been an integral part of the company’s 3rd generation of ownership. After achieving a degree in Scientific & Technical Communications, he returned to the company to learn through several positions before becoming President. He enjoys the variety of customers and unique solutions that the company provides. He is most proud of his family/team and that his grandfather’s name is still known for high-quality heat exchangers all over the globe.
When not working Sean spends time with his wife and their dogs in Menominee. In addition to serving on an advisory board at Michigan Tech and the board of directors of the regional Goodwill Industries, he enjoys time with his children’s families, cruising country backroads, and being on the water.
